How to get to Ocean House

Accessibility during the NAVO Top

Planning a visit to Ocean House in Scheveningen during the NATO Summit on June 24 and 25, 2025, presents significant logistical challenges. The summit, held at the World Forum in The Hague, will attract thousands of delegates and world leaders, resulting in extensive security measures and traffic restrictions throughout the region.

Traffic Measures and Road Closures

From Sunday afternoon, June 22, through Thursday, June 26, major traffic disruptions are expected across the Randstad. Key highways such as the A4, A44, and N44 will be partially or fully closed, along with several on- and off-ramps and tunnels. This will cause severe delays for drivers traveling between Amsterdam, The Hague, and Rotterdam (rijksoverheid.nl).

In The Hague itself, Johan de Wittlaan, near the World Forum, is closed to traffic from April 14 until early August. Additionally, the Hubertus Tunnel will be closed at the end of July, further complicating access to the western parts of the city, including Scheveningen (denhaagcentraal.net).

Emergency Ordinances and Security Zones

During the summit, emergency ordinances will apply in four areas of The Hague, including the surroundings of the World Forum and parts of Scheveningen. Access in these zones will be restricted to residents and authorized individuals, significantly limiting movement throughout the city (ad.nl).
